Being an integrative therapist gives me the ability to explore what’s going on for you through a number of different approaches. You will be welcomed into a safe environment which is completely non-judgemental and empathetic. You will be able to express yourself freely, in a way that you may have not experienced before and really feel heard. I am a warm approachable character with a good sense of humour – yes, I am human just like anyone else and may apply humour when appropriate in session.

Together we will explore whatever you wish to bring in order to better understand yourself, your thoughts and feelings.

I have worked in Education within the welfare, mental health and safeguarding field for many years and believe that my background further enhances my counselling practice. I have a genuine passion for listening to people’s individual stories as we all have one to tell.

You will see that I have a real passion for the outdoors as my practice is based in a purpose-built garden room within my garden. I believe that nature can have such a positive effect on our mental wellbeing and am also able to offer walk and talk Nature Therapy.

I am a registered member of the BACP and adhere to their Ethical Framework for Counselling and Psychotherapy and have regular clinical supervision. I also have professional indemnity insurance.
